In Japan's feudal history, the Takeda family is a legendary clan that ruled over the Kai region (present-day Yamanashi Prefecture) from the 12th to the 16th century, becoming one of Japan's most powerful warrior families. With exceptional military strategies and innovative cavalry tactics, the Takeda clan gained immense influence, making it one of the most powerful families during the Warring States period. The family motto, "Fūrin Kazan" (Wind, Forest, Fire, Mountain), symbolizes the traits of the Takeda army: swift as the wind, silent as the forest, fierce as fire, and steady as the mountain.
Takeda Shingen's Historical Contributions and Legacy
Takeda Shingen (1521–1573) is one of the most legendary military commanders in the Warring States era, known as the 'Tiger of Kai.' He inherited his father Takeda Nobutora's territory and quickly expanded the Takeda clan's power through his brilliant military strategy. Shingen became one of the strongest warlords of his time, defeating numerous enemies in key battles, particularly his famous rivalry with Uesugi Kenshin, which became a legendary series of encounters in Japanese history.
Takeda Shingen is celebrated for his innovations in warfare, particularly his cavalry tactics. He revolutionized battlefield strategies by shifting the focus of the Takeda cavalry from archers to spearmen, which was showcased in the Battle of Mikatagahara. Shingen's cavalry army made the Takeda clan a force to be reckoned with in the Warring States period. However, after the death of Shingen, the Takeda clan's fortunes changed, and following their defeat at the Battle of Nagashino, the clan gradually declined and was eventually extinguished in 1582.

Shipping Rules
- Most of our orders start production within 24 hours of receiving payment, and ship within 1-2 business days after production is completed. We use SF-INTERNATIONAL and UPS for most of our shipments.
- If you place a custom order, it may take 25-30 business days depending on the difficulty of the craft.
- We are not guaranteed for the shipping transition time. The estimated delivery time will be provided by the shipping carrier, the ETA may vary due to the weather or special situation.
- After hand-made finish, We aim to ship orders within 2 business days for US domestic orders. However, this may sometimes be longer due to other circumstances such as order volume and backorders. Also, we do have a few special-order items that have longer lead times. These lead times are noted on the items page. Larger orders may also take a few extra days to ship out. If you require a faster lead time, please contact us.
- If you need to cancel your order, please contact us within 24 hours of placing your order. If we processed and shipped your order within 24 hours and we are not able to cancel your order. If you contact us after it's been shipped, we are not able to recall the order. You can return it to our US warehouse once you receive the package. If we did not process your order, we are able to cancel it per your request.
- Tracking numbers will be sent to the customers once we shipped out the package.
- We do not ship to Puerto Rico and all outlying US territories. We do not ship to APO/FPO or PO boxes.
- We do not offer local pickup.
